Paleo Breakfast Smoothies


Eggs, eggs and more eggs. My normal breakfast usually consists of two or three eggs and a piece of fruit. Not very exciting, I know. Eggs are quick and easy, which is a definite plus in the morning. After a couple days in a row of plain over-easy eggs, I am itching to add a little variety to my breakfast routine.

Paleo Sweet Potato and Sausage Breakfast Hash

Next to dessert my next favorite meal is hands down brunch. It is the perfect combination of breakfast and lunch and goes so well with a mimosa. While mimosas aren’t the regular during the work week, my love of brunch foods transitions to breakfast.

Paleo Taco Salad with Guacamole


I love Mexican food. Growing up in Oklahoma, there is a surprising amount of fantastic Mexican restaurants. My typical restaurant order consists of fajita chicken enchiladas, Mexican mashed potatoes and rice with unlimited tortilla chips, salsa and quesadilla. Nothing from that is Paleo except maybe the salsa.

The Beginning

Let’s start at the beginning. At the start of September 2012, I decided to make a change to start living a healthier life. Since I was 17, I have tried probably every diet out there, but I eventually gave each up. The same could be said for my lack of a regular workout routine. Both of these things changed in September, and I have never made two better decisions in my life.
